Next time lets try thinking out of the box just a bit. First of all he wouldn't be out of position at all, he's played RW for years, but the Rangers felt he plays better on the left side. Second, you can juggle things up, throw straka in the middle, whatever, to get Prucha on the left side.

in all honesty you guys are better prepared for the "new NHL" than most teams

Lundie certainly is your #1 goalie now

still a necessary element which they lack much of

if prucha was a little bigger or thicker, he'd be that player

how is lundy playing?

I love Strakas... "who me?" look after he takes a penalty, it's priceless.

Prucha hits a lot more than most of the other forwards, he doesnt intimidate anyone though.

Do you want the kid to succeed or not? Ask Rodent, on this one...he has been playing left wing for the past few years and that is where he is at his best. From the left he can cut to the inside most effectively and fire his shot. Don't just throw a kid somewhere because he USED TO play there.

Kvasha today reminds me of how I play NHL 2006. Just goes up the wing full speed without being impeded.

he did say Straka could move to center to accomodate Prucha on LW, so before you bash him take all points into consideration here. And Prucha has played RW before in the past, but is best at LW as you stated.

How's Lunkan been so far? I know he's got the shutout intact, but has he made any big saves?

I am not trying to bash him but get frustrated when people feel you can just place a player out of position. If Straka were to play center, then Betts or Moore would have to sit and neither of them deserve that. Prucha is not going to play the 2nd line this year unless there is an injury. Although I would not mind seeing him get more time on the PP or even if his line plays better the 3rd and 4th flip flop.

Reviewing the goal... NO goal for Tom Poti. He is playing well though.

Where do you want him to shoot it, Poti made a good play, Hunter just made a better one for hus team.

and wow Ward and Betts almost made a nice goal there off that breakaway.

What do the Islanders have to do to get a penalty called against them?
