What has happened to Greg Hogeboom?

At the beginning of last season former Monarchs coach Bruce Boudreau predicted Greg was going to a Narch Top6 in 2005-06. Then a campaign of misery for Hogeboom, who experienced a few serious injuries. He's been sent to Reading after camp, but I've checked his stats and played just 1 game. Is he injured again?

I may see Hogeboom this Friday in Greenville. If I go, I'll let you know how he looked.

I did see him play in Greenville last night and thought he looked very good. Hogeboom was hitting with good timing, showed good positioning and went to the net. Had some shots but did not get on the scoresheet.

Stephenson on the other hand, had a goal and an assist. He got open in front to put home a nice pass across the crease, and then made a good pass on a 2 on 1 for the assist. He looks like a real raw talent in that he runs all over the place (probably a bad habit from junior), but clearly he has good size, skating and puck skills.

Fukufuji played alright. He gave up two goals, but two other pucks got by him but were not goals. One went underneath him and hit the post, the other was in a scramble at the other end, not sure what happened there. But the goals that did beat him, one was a backhander that beat him five-hole, the other was a scramble that popped over him when he was down.

He needs to strap his mask on tighter though, it came off twice in the game, and neither was a very forceful play. He smacked his head on the ice.

Gosh, just think if Fukufuji picked up LaBarbera's "bobblehead" habit!
