If we go .500 or above over that stretch I'll be happy.

Well 4 of those 6 are at home. I think we will manage. Now if we were to play teams like Washington and Florida I'd be worried, but for some reason we step it up against the better teams.

I think winning 4 of the 6 wouldn't be that much of a stretch, but it's unlikely we'll beat Ottawa either time.

From the bit I've been hearing, it sounded like Buffalo took the back to back losses last week pretty hard, and it showed in the NYI game Saturday, and that's the sign they are for real. I think they'll be pretty pumped for most of those games and have their act together.

So long as they stay on the attack for 60 minutes, and one or two players get their head into the game (i.e. Vanek) I see no reason to expect less than 10 points out of that stretch. None of those teams are unbeatable (well, maybe we can catch the Sens napping )

I'm looking forward to our teams clashing twice back to back.

...and how. Hopefully HNIC gives us the game Saturday... but unlikely, with THE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE playing Tampa.

If we win both games against the Canadiens and the game vs. Toronto I'll be happy.. However getting 3/6 of those games is neccessary to stay pace with the rest of the teams in the east... The games vs Ottawa should be more competitive cuase the team should be rested and we will be in our house...

LETS GO SABRES!

3/3 would be acceptable against those teams

4/2 will show the sabres are for real.

I would like to see at least 7 pts out of this. i wouldn't mind 3/3 whle getting some overtime loses and the points.

we should be able to pound Toronto, unless Belfour stands on his head. i don't like our chances against the Sens, but ya never know, we might be able to grab a couple of points in the two games. Carolina will be tough but i fancy our chances against them. and the two games against the Habs will be awesome. probably the two most exciting, speedy teams in the league going at it home and home.

I see a split with the Senators. They're a very very good team, but they aren't gods. They'll lose a minimum of 25 games this season, and I don't see why one of these two can't be one of them.

Points in 4 of 6... how those shake out ..?

I don't know, Carolina is nigh-unkillable. The Flyers had them down 3-0 and 5-3 after two and they kept on coming. *shakes head*

Lavalamp really has them skating on air. Great to see, btw. That's the game I'm most worried about. Ottawa at home I would expect we get a point from... on the road, who knows?

I'll be happy with anything north of 7 points from those 6 games, honestly.

I'll be content with a split, but I think we're probably looking at 2-4. 7 points would be great.

4-2. Ottawa gets us AGAIN as our 3rd game in 4 nights. That would put us at 11-6. Boo ya.

Why stop at November 12th?

Pretty much the whole month of November looks like Hell for the Sabres.

Yes The Caps and Devils as well (considering they both just beat us)

I can only hope the boys go .500 this month and i'll be happy.

Well, I would say the month of October didn't look too promising for the Sabres before the season started. But we came away with wins IN Tampa Bay, IN Boston, and on the Island (and we also should have taken Florida to overtime on thier home ice). I think we can finish the month 9-5 or so.

Nov 2 vs Ott LOSS
Nov 4 vs Mon WIN
Nov 5 at Mon OT LOSS
Nov 9 vs Car WIN
Nov 11 vs Tor WIN
Nov 12 at Ott OT LOSS

That would give us a 10-5-2 record I believe.

Nov 2 vs Ott OT Loss
Nov 4 vs Mon WIN
Nov 5 at Mon Loss
Nov 9 vs Car Loss (will give up 3rd period lead)
Nov 11 vs Tor WIN
Nov 12 at Ott LOSS

That's 5 out of 12... Personally, I don't think much of Montreal so both of those games are rife for the taking. The Leafs at home after getting smoked by the Canes is a no-brainer as well. Carolina will have had 4 days off as well, so that game is the key. The only good news is that OTT will have played the night before the game on the 12th as well.

7 points will be a victory... anything north of that and this team may be the real deal.
