All I see on this board is ridiculous trade proposals from MTL fans that wants to trade their over-rated over-paid suspect AHLers for young franchise players.

Nobody wants Hainsey, if they did they would have picked him up when he was sent down. Players like Robeiro while popular in MTL are available for close to nothing around the league. Streit is 27 and barely a NHL 7th D.

Would it be possible to have separate boards for rumors and proposals?

No. This works fine. There simply aren't any viable rumors right now. It's not even a month into the season.

It sucks that their are no rumors out there anymore. Hockey was good for a few blockbuster deals each season but now we are left exchanging minor leaguers.

Yeah, I've been saying the same thing for months but I guess they don't feel a need for it. I come here to see actual rumours and seeing dozens and dozens of proposals that will never happen makes me wanna vomit.

Personally I think with the salary cap you'll see less movement during the season, and mcuh more during the offseason.

There ARE no actual rumors right now. The best you can get are bogus Tkachuk to Calgary type deals. If you want to go to site that fabricates rumors for your enjoyment, believe me, there are plenty out there.

Its only November 3rd. I wouldn't rule out big trades down the road.

We're not even 20 games into the season yet, geez. GMs and coaches are still evaluating their teams, give them a break.

Daryl Sutter would get a pretty bad back if he spent that much time bent over.

You don't really think that's fair, right? And you don't think that's a legit rumor, rather than something cooked up by a Toronto wino with a laptop and no steady source of income...right?

Good thinking. That's dunkeroos.

There aren't going to be any trades of significance for several months = few rumors.

Buffalo isn't going to be doing anything for at least 6-8 weeks.

I feel exactly the same way. I remember when I used to read the boards when their was a sub-forum for proposals.
