I was just about to say....I've seen that line before.

Hopefully putting TV and Roy alongside Max will keep his head up.

Tallinder's having major problems adjusting to the right side. On a 1-10 scale, he's an 8 playing the left side and only a 5 on the right. He doesn't have the quickness/coordination to recover from those extra seconds it takes to make a decision because the position doesn't come second nature to him yet. The Sabres should have called up Jillson.

I agree that Timmah has been good on the PP point, but there is not enough Jameson in the county to make me think Campbell has been anything other than mediocre anywhere on the ice.
Campbell's quick and he has good recovery ability. They might as well move him to the right side. He'll still be mediocre, but at least Tallinder would be effective.

Overall, the Sabres defensemen have performed up to expectations with one notable exception, Dmitri Kalinin. If there's going to be a whipping boy it has to be Kalinin.

But Roy on the wing doesn't work. It was tried with the Amerks, and it was a disaster to say the least.
Wasn't Roy(LW)-Pittis(C)-Pominville(RW) the Amerks best line in the 2003-04 playoffs?

That is correct. Poms and Roy are great with a bigger center or a flashy puck moving center who can create seperation. Briere would be an ideal linemate, or even Gaustad believe it or not.

His stick broke and besides Plekaneck (sp.) missed the net...

Kotalik owns the point while on a 2-man advantage...
