Help me blow up the stars

It is always tough as a way to be subjective but clearly the stars need help. Make an offer for anyone. remember Modano and Zubie are signed long term and go nowhere. Arnott and Turco and Boucher will be FAs at the end of the season. Morrow is signed longterm I think and Lets has another year as does Guerin. Let the proposals fly

Plenty of teams would be interested in the Stars d-men.

Is Erskine projected to be a top 4 defenseman? What Isle forwards would the Stars want for Martin Skoula?

I'd take Arnott on the Rangers.

He'd cost more than I'd be willing to offer though. But yes a nice physical center. I doubt the Stars want Rucchin + in return though.

What, Niinimaa and Sopel coughing up the puck isn't enough?

True, but Arnott would look nice on the second line. Better than Rucchin at least.

Isles would move either Sopel or Niinimaa if they got a cheaper, physical top 4.

It'd probably be Niinimaa at the trade deadline because Milbury has his tighty whiteys in a bunch over Sopel, think that he's going to have some sort of breakout season.

Ottawa would be interested in Arnott as a rental down the stretch and into the playoffs. What kind of return do you think Dallas would be expecting for him (or even Barnes)?

The Avs will gladly take Jokinen off of Dallas' hands.

Probably be willing to give up Boughner and Sauer for him too.

If I'm the Habs GM I'll offer Hainsey and a decent pick for Boucher.

I too have been thinking about Arnott in a Sens jersey. We could use the size, the shot, and the Cup ring. (Who couldn't?)

I'm not sure about how much he would be worth to us, especially given the interest other teams are likely to show in him. Since we haven't seen much other than salary dumps and bust-for-bust trades, we also don't have a read on what's likely to change hands.

If we were to get him mid-way through the season, how about a 2nd-rounder and a Russian prospect? Lyamin, maybe Mirnov?

Guys like Jokinin are not available. Arnott or Guerin are although I assume Guerin would be hard to move. Boucher plays a ton and is likely only available at the deadline.

What would you want from the Rangers for Arnott?

What would it take for the Blues to grab Guerin? Don't even ask for Brewer, Backman or Jackman; Guerin's salary puts his value WAY below theirs.

I would be shocked if they could move Guerin at all. I imagine a pick or someone like Soderberg would be a great return.

As for Arnott, I imagine he will be a popular call at deadline time if stars suck. They could use young scoring wingers or a center with size or goaltending prospects

Arnott to the Isles! They need a big center.

What does Dallas need?

I 2nd that motion. I'd love Arnott for the cup run, but I wouldn't give up a top notch prospect like Eaves/Kaigordov/Lee for him. I think Lyamin/Mirinov and a 2nd is fair.

Like everyone else...I'd like Arnott for the Preds.

Zidlicky and Shishkanov?
