Most Important

What is the most important sign if the Blueshirts are going to make some real progress this year. I think it is, as it has been, the penalty kill. Any other thoughts?

It might not be the most important, but I think shots allowed would be a pretty good indicator of how this team's going to be.

Special teams. The power play needs to be better. The PK...heck, why repeat something that has been beaten to death.

Shots allowed can be deceptive. Quality shots are what matters, taking shots from the corner near the blue line or from the center line when your team is changing are much less dangerous.
