Mark Eckel, of the Trenton Times, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens had a fistfight with former defensive end and current team ambassador Hugh Douglas. The fight occurred in front of several of his teammates. According to one of the sources the Owens-Douglas fight "was like WWE Smackdown." Another source said both men threw at least two punches during the altercation and when it was over Owens challenged QB Donovan McNabb first and then everyone else in the room saying, "You want some. Anyone else want some." The Eagles refused to comment about the situation, other than the statement that revealed Owens' suspension. Owens and Douglas have been at odds since training camp and almost got into an altercation in an elevator at Lehigh University

What a class act.

That Irvin has his back just reminds us that birds of a feather flock together.

If you want some come get some. Still I gotta give him props for duking it with Hugh Douglas as he's a pretty big guy

Yeah, but Douglas retired because his shoulder is shot. So TO picked a fight with a guy who shouldn't be throwing punches, but they never liked each other to begin with.

What a ****** bag. And you just know someone's going to give him money in the offseason. My guess (for no good reason) is Dallas.

of course if they got him down there he could be arrested on some trumped up charge and executed before the bye week

Parcells wasn't there at the time, and I get the feeling that he doesn't care.

Same here. Between TO and Jabba the Rush, I'm a huge McNabb fan.

there isn't a chance in hell he signs with Dallas. Parcells said that he is done dealing with the thugs & idiots in the league and Owens definitely fits in there somewhere.

ok, but he coached Keyshawn before and that is the difference. Johnsson never had a problem with the Jets it was only in Tampa and you can't be serious, comparing Keyshawn to Owens.

Wayne Cherbet would care to disagree with that assesment.

Keyshawn Johnson was once suspended by his team. Just like Owens is now. I'd say that's pretty comparable.

the bottom line is, KJ didn't get out of line with Parcells as the coach and thats all that matters. Parcells had knowledge of Keyshawn and IMO, you can't even compare what KJ has done with what Owens has done in San Fran and now in Philly.

whatever, if you want to sit here and compare KJ to Owens go ahead. to me, Owens is far worse but it doesn't matter because the difference is, Parcells knew what he was getting with Keyshawn apposed to Ownes. the Cowboys won't even sniff in Owens direction.

I will, because they are comparable. Keyshawn's an egotistical jerk who had one team tire of him and trade him, and then that team eventually suspended him the year after going to the Super Bowl. Just like TO. TO's the bigger ****** bag, but Keyshawn is certainly no angel.

No disagreement.

Then he shouldn't say he's done dealing with thugs and idiots in the league if Keyshawn Johnson is his pal.

It would only be appropriate for him to get traded to Arizona, where the media will forget about him and he can finish out his career having Josh McCown hang him out to dry 4 times a game.

Apparently he punked Hugh Douglas and got the better of him, thats when he went back and challenged anyone else that wanted to say something, including McNabb. Big Hugh, the self proclaimed "bad-***-ador", haha. TO has just gone nuts and the news just keeps rolling on the guy but honestly, I didn't disagree with his antics prior to this season. The Eagles were stingy as hell in dealing with him and he simply gave them the silent treatment in the off-season until the season rolled around when he suited up anyway. I also never minded his touchdown celebrations or his dealings with Jeff Garcia, which was warranted in my opinion. But this season he has just gone overboard with his relationship with Donovan, Andy Reid, and the rest of his teammates. I've seen fist fights between players on every team I've ever been on but these other antics are unheard of. Perhaps that's the price you pay when you disgruntle one of your stars but the Eagles better figure out what to do because they will suffer on the field without him and they will suffer off the field with him.

Would I take TO on my team, assuming the Giants didnt have Burress? Yep. He is the best WR in the league, between the white lines, for 60 minutes(JCD,I know you'll object to that but I firmly believe most GMs would agree with me here). The production he brings is undeniable and I think you have a chance to limit his off-the-field destruction with a discipline-instilling coach and a front office committed to making him happy. But that being said, would I rather pass on TO and get a guy like Burress, or Hines Ward, or Marvin Harrison, Tory Holt, Chad Johnson, ect? Definately.

Trade him to Detroit and see him have to deal with either Joey Harrington or his old pal Jeff Garcia (who I remain convince IS gay, playboy bunny coverup or not)

get out of here w/ that garbage. maybe he is, maybe he's not... is that pertinent?

this whole thing could be over with one swing of a tire iron. someone just Tanya Harding his knee and let him 'fade into bolivian' w/ Mike Tyson.

If I'm a QB, I don't want my GM trading for TO. I've been a fan of TO since his days in San Fran, but now he's just an a-hole. I was happy for him after the SB because he was getting some respect for his comeback from a serious injury. Now anyone who started to respect him will never again. He moaned his way to Philly and kissed Mcnabb's butt last summer and now he's stabbed them in the back. I'm just tired of the guy now. Someone will pay him, but all 32 teams should just let the guy rot instead of giving him a dime. He has too much talent to just remain unsigned though. Eagles need to cut him and move on in the offseason.
