I never said KJ was an angel and I will agree that he has had his share of problems but the point I was making was that when it comes to stirring the pot, there is no one in Owens league.

again, KJ has a good relationship with Parcells, he is a Parcells guy and thats all that matters. Owens is not a Parcells guy and never will be.

I agree, the reward is just not worth the risk. no team or GM with half a brain will touch Owens.

And it looks like TO wont be coming back to the Eagles at all this season. Which is fine with me, since he'll be gone next Monday night(although he was practically invisible the last time anyways).

Yeah, he got Keyshawned.

And when the off-season arrives, a line 10 teams long will form outside the office of TO's agent. GMs will never learn. They always think they'll be the team to turn him around.

And this time in 2006 we will be going through the same exact thing.

Atlanta Falcons anyone?

You really think so? I wouldnt want him on my team if HE paid me his salary, good player, but not worth the **** that you have to deal with the other 6 days and 20 hours...

I would bet on the Falcons and Raiders showing interest, then you have teams like Washington, Seattle, Tennessee, Denver and KC who could have interest.

If you are a good enough player, you can always find plenty of teams to take you on. Name me a great player in any team sport that couldn't find a job because of his behavior.

Plus, TO is going to end up winning big. He got a $13 million signing bonus that was supposed to go over a 7 year contract, and he'll get another giant signing bonus two years later.

Well it looks like his big mouth has gotten him off another team. So any guesses as to where he'll end up? Oakland?

I think Belichick and company would stay away from Owens, despite his immense talent. Perhaps the Bears would be wise to do the same.

Why the raiders would take a chance on a guy like this when they have a way more talentend wr in Randy moss?

Because aslong as Al Davis is alive the Raiders should be linked to any talented headcase on the market.

First of all, Raiders will not get Owens. They already have Moss, Porter, and Curry. Also, they will not have the cap space to do it.

I can see the Chiefs being a team interested in TO. Face it, none of their receivers are game breakers. Unfortunately, Owens is the worst team player in the league.

Mort said on Dan Patrick's radio show today that if TO had just kept his mouth shut and played the season, the Eagles probably would have picked up his option next season which includes a pretty big roster bonus. Now he'll be a FA and no team will give him that big contract he wants. Like Tuggy said, he's run his mouth off another team.

Now im a big Randy Moss fan but besides being better at catching deep balls, Owens has Moss beat in every other aspect like running routes etc

Hum I don't agree with you on this one.I'd take Moss speed, leaping ability and catching over Owens Strenght anytime.
Moss might me be the most gifted wide receiver ever!

Personally I disagree. I'd have to say that for blocking, strength and short passes, TO is better. However, for speed, leaping ability, intermediate and long balls, I'd take Moss. In terms of basic catching abilities I'd take Moss as well. That's not to say he's far superior to Owens, but he does have an edge imo. He can catch almost any ball thrown in his vacinity. His athleticism and one handed catches are remarkable.

Owens has a lot of power and can go across the middle, but Moss can flat out burn anybody in the league. As for running routes, Moss can get a little sloppy from time to time but he's still a sharp deep runner and again, he can get by pretty much any DB in the league.

Speed, hands (by far) and leaping all favor Moss.

Owens runs better routes and is a better blocker, but that is it.

Denver I doubt. Regardless of the shallow WR pool, Shanahan recently got burned with Low character guys like Gardner and Clarette and has Eddie Kennison, Dale Carter and Anthony Miller in his past. Besides Owens doesn't seem like the downfield blocking type, which is a requirement to please the autocrat.

As loudmouthed as Sharpe was, he never laid into the team or the coach.

KC maybe. Marty's meltdown with all the reprobates might be far enough in the rearview to take a chance on TO.
