A big reason for Hedberg starting tonights game is probably because he wasn't played much in the pre-season(because of his injury) and Crawford probably wants him to get a solid game under his belt as soon as possible. Still, after Cloutier's perfomance Thursday night, I have to question Crawford's descision on this one... Go with the hot hand I say!

Those picking the Canucks to win may wish to re-visit their predictions... The PecaFan curse may be in for tonight.

I won tickets to the game on Sportstalk.

Since 1996 when I saw my first live Canucks game, I am 1 win, 16 losses in games that I have attended. That's a streak of 16 straight losses, we won the first game I watched against Los Angeles (it was supposed to be Gretzky, but they traded him to St. Louis a week before, grrr).

Colorado, Calgary, Edmonton, Chicago, you name it, we've lost to them all.

Oh great!

Anyone want to buy my tickets? Better yet, PecaFan scalp your tickets and go to the Lions game.

Is it the same lineup as last games? I say the scratches are Keane Slegr and Lindgren.

Forward line up is the same according to basically everyone.

Defensively, don't be surprised if Slegr steps in for Allen this game.

Well, the games are generally entertaining, so it's still worth going.

Although I was at the Potvin three goals on the first three shots game, that one wasn't too entertaining.

Interesting the talk about Hedberg, I was expecting Cloutier again.

I would keep Allen in. This game could be rough and Allen is tougher than Slegr. He played a pretty good game if you excude the first period giveaways.

Would you consider staying home and giving the tickets to me instead... I could probably bring more luck.

Yeah, the Oilers are a real test for Vancouver tonight, at least considering the toughness factor. It'll be our first game without Langdon, Baron and Klatt against a tough team like Edmonton, with the likes of Laraque, Torres, Ferguson, Cross, and to a lesser degree Isbister and Smith. It'll be interesting to see how we stack up, and who steps up.

God I sound like Arankys...

sucks to scratch him after he played well and scored a goal. however, i'd have to agree he'd be the most logical scratch tonight.
