Was trading Stillman a bad idea??

He already has 2 goals & an assist in his first game of the season with Tampa Bay.

Stillman is a nice player and should do very well in Tampa, but all his points are on the PP and yes, it's only one game, but considering he's got 3 PP points, I think it's fair to say it's an anomaly. Glad he's on my team.

It was considering the financial bind the St. Louis Blues found them in.

As someone said, it's only 1 game. However, TB is an offensive-agressive team and you can expect Stillman to probably rack up slightly more points than he would on many other teams. Cory will be fed by some great players this year.

Meanwhile, Prospal is probably not going to have as great of an offensive season in Anaheim.

Lecavalier looks absolutely amazing. I hope people keep an eye on Vincent this year. He is going to have a stunning season.

Sotnos is probably going to fall out of his chair but I agree. Vinny, since last season, has started playing like a real hockey player.

All of Vinny's problems are in his head. He's got all te talent in the world to dominate and he is slowly getting it.

The Bolts would do well to get another veteran. Someone who is smart, is a winner and can still have at least a slight impact both on the ice and the leadership department.

The better Lecavalier will be surrounded in the next 2-3 years, the better his career will be the next 10.

Vlad couldn't be more right. The Lightning can be a true Cup contender by putting an impact veteran (not over or under the hill) on Vinny's RW and shoring up the defense with a top-4 offensive defenseman.

Only problem is the ownership is cheap, and the only way they'll likely improve the team would be by trading Khabibulin. So really, the Lightning's near future as a Cup contender could very well depend on John Grahame. Not the most comforting of notions.

Good for Stillman.

But I do think this will haunt the Blues this season!
