Hey Guys,
Any chance we go after Comrie? It seems like every other team in the league is. How do you guys think he would fit in? I know he's supposedly got attitude problems, but he does't make much (about 1.2 Mil) and he's got some skill.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=1690429 - "Oilers general manager Kevin Lowe said earlier this week that Comrie's decision not to re-sign with Edmonton wasn't a financial one."

Does anybody remember where Edmonton got the draft pick (99/3r091) they used to pick Mike Comrie? Yes, from the Predators; for defenseman Craig Millar. So, who got the better part of the deal in that one? (We lost Millar to Tampa Bay on waivers on Oct25/00.)

Anyhoo...
