Oct 12:Game Day Thread Kings vs. Blackhawks

I have not heard about anyone being called up to replace Gleason.Has anyone heard if he is going to try to play tonight?

Also if the Kings can pull out a win tonight then they would have had a pretty good first road trip.I think Chicago has only scored 1 goal in their first 2 games.Hopefully the Kings defense can continue that trend.Lets hope they can get another 50 shot night too.

Brown playing with Stumpel and Palffy instead of Frolov.

Had a good chance to get his first goal from a Palffy setup but T-Bo made the save.

Avery had a penalty but the Kings killed it.

Kings now going on the power play.

It would be very nice if the Kings could maybe string together a couple of passes.

Wow, Dustin Brown looks really good this game. He's on the first line, already drew two penalties, and basically caused the turnover that led to the Kings goal.

Kings 3-0.

Klatt with two quick goals.

Gleason with the assist on the first goal and Robitaille on the second goal.

Pirnes stopped on his second penalty shot in two games.

Kings are skating really really well through center ice.

And Foxy's point about the 3rd and 4th line having puck possession in the attacking zone is huge.

Are the Kings finally going to stop playing primarily dump and chase hockey???

hmmmmmmmm :clown:

Now Bob and Jim are going to rip the league a new one for their weak ass slap on the wrist to Brooks Orpik...

Colin Campbell is a coward!!

Reaction to their reaction: Weak... They had an opportunity to call Colin Campbell out and they didn't.

Kings are missing too many breakaways.... They need to bury some of those.

Palffy screwed Lubomir on that play... AWFUL drop pass...

Kings are getting a bit luck right now.

Gleason got his first point and Cechmanek's got his first win.Now Brown just has to score that elusive first goal.
