I agree with IB a decent prospect and a 2nd/3rd would get you Weight.

This is what I'd move my vetrens for.

Salvador/Weinrich - 4th/5th
Weight - 1st or prospect and a 2nd/3rd
Tkachuk - 1st or a prospect and a 2nd/3rd
Brewer - 2 mid level forward prospects or 1 nhl level winger

I'd rate Tkachuk and Weight's value about the same, provided Tkachuk ever manages to stay healthy.

Depends on his game and his point producing.
I do not think any team would try to get him now or 2 month from now. But teams like Ottawa and Montreal would be very interested before playoffs..
2nd rounder and a decent prospect someone like Umberger as high as I would go if Flyers would need him which is unlikely. You can forget about 1st rounder and 3d rounder thatís just too much. Do teams get compensated when UFA walks???

I might be. But If these conditions are in play (which I think are probable)
1) St. Louis has no chance at the playoffs
2) There are 20 or more teams at the deadline who think they can make the playoffs and even do a little damage in them. (thus they are not dumping any players and want to add to their team at the deadline making few salary dump players available)
3) Weight is playing well and is healthy

If those 3 conditions occur (and only the 3rd one is a question mark IMO) then the value for Weight is very, very high. He is a proven playoff performer and could help every single team in the League in the playoffs and he is a no risk to the Cap because he is an UFA and you only take about a 1.3-1 mil Cap hit to get him)

I think the value of Picks and prospects is higher in the new CBA but I really think Weight could get a huge return to the Blues if the stars align and Weight is Healthy and playing really well near the deadline.
