Who are your Favorite Ranger Prospects?

Just wondering who everyones favorite Ranger prospects are? (Or which prospects your rooting for to succeed in the NHL the most)

AHL/ECHL: Dawes - Was praying his game would translate to the pro level and it has.

CHL: Dubinsky - Been a fan since we drafted him, really hoping this kid makes the NHL one day

NCAA: Ryan - Used to be Montoya but Ryan is moving into that spot..plus the kid facebooked me.

Obviously I have a lot of favorite prospects but these are the top ones from each league.

You can use this or this as a list of prospects.

BTW don't use anybody who are currently on the Rangers team.

dubinsky has quickly taken my focus. A hard working, gritty player who can score.

LIFFITON? Serious dark horse from what little I've read about him, but Ive never seen him play. Be interested in hearing why.

Dawes, because I'd like to see us have a really pure scorer with a dogged attitude and serious on/off ice intelligence.

Immonen, because I think he can be a solid 2nd line anchor for years and years.

Not falling in love with anyone else because they're too far off. Maybe Staal... looked real self-possessed in preseason, certainly doing it all since then. Also would like to see what Baranka's game is all about. Maybe soon?

I have so many people i love, either their attitudes or style or level of play.

I didn't include Tyutin, Lundqvist and Prucha

Right now:

#1 Hollweg- Hes playing awesome, nice story coming back from that big head injury, LOVE his style and the fact he plays perhaps slightly bigger then he is. gives 110% great watching him crush people into the boards.

#2Weller- Watching Hartford a few times now, he can put the puck in the net for a rough guy, again maybe not as mobile, but he isnt slow he is a smart player not a goon but can hold his own in fights, LOVE to see him get a call up. Perfect for the 4th line for toughness but with no cost to playing. move over strudwick...

#3 Baranka - crisp passing, nice work ethic, good size great skating, rarely ever a mistake, like to see a bit more offence out of him but he is very SOLID he is getting good minutes playing with Rullier mainly

#4 Dubinsky- Great at face offs, can agitate works hard and scores alot, was clutch in the playoffs for his team last year and is hot this year perfect 3rd line center

Then comes guys like:

Staal
Kozak
Dawes

Obviously Marc Staal. I am kind of intrigued by Olver and Ryan. Not locks to make it but if they do the reward is good.

Also like Baranka.

It's hard to really pick out a particular prospect that I have an afinity for because I've seen so few of them play. I will admit, however, that I find myself drawn to Nigel Dawes. I don't know if it's becuase he's a sniper, or because he works hard, or because he's my height, but I find myself pulling for the guy.

I can say for sure that I detest Correy Potter, and that I never want to see the guy in a Ranger's sweater. Maybe my opinion will change when/if he's on my side, but I think I'd find it really hard to root for the guy.

1? Peter Mueller? - soon to be Ranger? A "franchise" center

1A. Micheal Sauer - the forgotten "D" prospect

2. Lauri Korpkioski - a missle on skates

3. Mark Staal - A steady force that will be with us for his entire career.

4. Bruce Graham - a Monster with talent.

I like the Korpedo, partly because of the nickname, partly because of he plays for TPS (my other favourite team), but mostly because, if he pans out, he's going to be a tonne of fun to watch.

In NA, I'm a big Dawes fan, because I'd love to see him make it.

Big fan of Lundqvist, Tyutin, Prucha, Moore, etc.

But I'm really eager to see how Jessiman, Korpikoski, Staal and Montoya develop. The big timers I guess.

With their 1st pick in 2006 draft the NYR select from Peterbourgh Petes center Jordan Staal, 6'4' 210#

Not counting those on the big club in Hartford it would be Immonen and Baranka.
Dubinsky, Staal and Ryan. Guenin as a dark horse.
