You're right, to a certain point Tom.

I think it's a combination of fed up with the usual crap she posts, and the intent of her post to bolster support for her latest crush. I don't believe I've ever seen a post about who got the game winning goal (except in a game day thread, which is where a post of this nature should be), and a "so there" attititude.

I do agree about the threads that have been closed. It's a shame that good debate and/or conversation in the '06/07 Best Player in the OHL was hijacked and subsequently had to be closed.
