Right now sixth defencemen has become an issue for habs as streit is making CJ look bad with his unpredictable play, so whats the best defensive talent habs could snatch for Bonk and 1st round pick?

which losing team has struggling top defencemen that could possibly come to habs, last year we took Kovalev off rangers, there must be some defensive talentthat we could have!

5th and 6th defenseman has become a problem for 27-28 other teams, get in line.

How about Jason Allison from the Leafs? There is a long thread on Toronto's board suggesting that the Leafs want to deal Allison.

Man... can't we have a limitation of 1 Habs proposal per week...

I am a Habs Fan and I think it's ridiculous to see 1 Habs proposal ever 3 threads..

I'd say close that and wait 'til we are in a losing streak before allowing Habs fans to post any thread in here. It is ridiculous ta a pretty far extent now. Please just quit it people

A 1st rounder and a dozens of T-Bones.

It's the 2nd trade-rumor-of-the-day with Huet in.

And the guy hasn't played a single game!!!

And I'm already waiting for the day where Carey Price will earn it's 1st victory giving less than 3 goals in AHL.

There will be offers for Theo, Danis or whoever is a netminder for the Habs by then.

Sheesh, that's overpayment. The Caps would unload Witt for the 1st rounder alone.

You don't want to trade Bonk. With his salary he won't get that much in trade either. Since the Habs likely want a long playoff run you need him for size as a shut down centre. He is good on D and you don't want Sundin, Spezza and Thorton playing against Riberio. You need to keep him. He may have not done that well with the Sens in the playoffs but you need him on your team to win. Don't say Begin is the answer, he is a career Ahl/4th liner. He may or may not keep up his current stellar play and even if he does you still need Bonk to be a big shut down centre.

How about Boughner or Sauer? Either can fill into the 5-6 d-spot quite nicely.

For a 1st rounder, Huet and Bonk?!?!?!?!?!?!

Why not suggest Igor Ulanov.

Or even better AVs-Wise. They should offer Dan Hinote!!! The Habs could convert him to D-Fense, and they would have a steady, but downgraded, Mathieu Dandenault kind of player who could be the 8th D-Men AND the 14 forward!!!

As somebody else pointed out, there's no way Bonk gets traded if we have a playoff spot comes deadline day.
