I'll pass.
How many more offensive D-Man do we need?
We have McCabe, Kaberle, Khavanov, and Pilar as offensive D-Man already. Even a number of our better defensive prospects are offence first guys.

Poti does nothing for us.... except weaken a defence that's already questionable defensively.
The absolute last thing we could possibly need is more offence from the blueline.

Which leaves a 2nd for Allison and Antropov..... frankly I'd say one of our leading point getters and a decent 3rd liner with some vague hope of developing is worth more to us then a 2nd rounder.

If JFJ pulls that trade, I'll have his head by the end of the week.

I think that Poti is free to anyone who wants to take on $2.3 million in salary.

Nice try. I don't think Toronto will deal Allison. He is cheap, and is a big part of their offense. Antropov is a good and youg 3rd line with some potential. On the other hand, Poti is expensive and a 2nd rounder ain't worth a good **** in this deal...

Well that slims it down to Mad Mike and Crazy Keenan.

Good luck with those two Glen.

Watching the Rangers thus far, can't see why they would revert to their old ways by trading for vets to take playing time away from their kids. Other then getting rid of Poti who has actually has stepped up of late, can't see the Rangers fixing something that ain't broken.

he only gets 4.5 million if he reaches certain bonuses in his contract. otherwise, hes making 1 or 1.5 million.

I think Allison is gonna end up in Florida...to be reunited with Keenan. With Allison expected to achieve his bonuses (thus making him a salary dump), what realistically is JFJ going to get out of Florida (supposedly he and Keenan had a little confab after an interview just recently)?? Would Huselius interest the Leafs?

Yes, he would.

Many of our centres are forced to play the wing because of a lack of quality natural wingers, with the exception of O'Neill.

OUCH.

first off... the rangers can keep Poti.

secondly... we need tough, defensive dmen...

third... Antropov isn't going anywhere and I doubt allison is either.

on a side note, what are the chances of prying halpern from washington? what would it cost...

I like huselius, and would probably do allison for huselius straight up if avail.

Huselius is nice, but doesn't adress anything on the team. We have 10 top 9 forwards and can't get them the proper ice time. We need D as well. If we add in a forward and D, then got back a solid D, I'm definately in.

Say...

to FLA - Allison, Berg, Antropov and a 3rd.
to Tor - Huselius, Van Ryn

we're already backed up at Forward, so we would not look to take on two more, and in a rebulding team we would not give up 2nd round picks.

He's pretty much played some of his best, all star caliber hockey of his career as of late.

I think we'll keep him until someone offers something decent.

We aren't losing with him and he's contributing lately after Ranger fans called for his head.

And by the way. The Rangers would absolutely 100% not do that trade.
