as for the naslund/bertuzzi debate, kind of a toss up, i'd take naslund, but a lot would disagree, its all about opinion

great list none the less though
you a Canucks fan? cause i am not obviously...I am trying to make the list as fair and impartial as possible...at least we agree for the most part...Nazzy is just not top 5 material in the league for me

Top 5

Lemieux - Come on guys... put him on the Avalanche and see what would happen. Forsberg? Hah. Seriously.. this guy could lead scoring by 35 points. Disagree? I dont care

Brodeur - Best goalie. I dont think theres too many who would disagree.

Lidstrom - Best dman. Again.. not too many who would disagree.

Thornton - Im a sucker big powerful center

Lecavalier - Err.. well.. i dont need to defend myself! *Runs away*

Mario is still head and shoulders above anybody else. Nobody has his ability. Nobody is even close. He makes hockey look easy. Can score from anywhere, even behind the net. Passes better than anyone. Remember the Olympics when he let the puck go by him to Kariya who then put it into the open side? That play was sublime, and shows that he is playing the game at a different level than anyone else. You put him on the Avs on a line with Kariya and Selanne or Hejduk and Tanguay and he gets 150 points.

Just pick a random Swedish player like Forsberg, Lidström or Näslund...
