As soon as the thread gets stickied, BOOM! It turns into an off-topic song-and-dance.

Havn't listened to, or seen, any Ads games for the past week and a half. Hope to get back on track over the Tanks-giving holiday, but those darn Badgers are looking good this year and playing the Big 10 mini-tourney this weekend in Michigan so my time is divided.

That 'tender the Preds brought over this season is making a lot of us in WI ask, "Finley who?"

gamache with an assist tonight in Milwaukee's 3-1 win over San Antonio...skating on a pp line with Pivko and Beech.. Pivko got the first goal, with beech and gamache each an assist.. Classen with a goal, and Tootoo with his 3rd goal (the GWG)..pivko the goal and two assists tonight to continue his good play... Rinne stays hot, stopping 22 of 23, he's won 7 of his last 8 starts now

Tootoo seems to be playing light years ahead of where he was in the minors last year.

while we were playing last night, Milwaukee continued their winning ways, beating San Antonio again, this time on the road, 3-1.. gamache with the first goal(from zanon and beech),peverly with his first goal(the center they picked up from rockford when smithson was called up)(from shishkanov and segal), and then classen from zanon...gamache also got the first star of the game

finley got the win in this one stopping 29 of 30 (now 2-0-0, with a 2.75 and .903)

Milwaukee gets back on the winning track... 4-0 over San Antonio last night...klein with his first, shishkanov, haydar and classen.. gamache with 2 assists.. finley with his 2nd shutout, in only 5 starts.. finley improves to 3-0-0 with a gaa of 1.97 and a save % of .930 now after this one (rinne got the decision in both the games finley got knocked out of and got injured in)...

Finley with a 39 save shutout against the Houston Aeros last night. Shish had 2 goals, Klein and Beech each had assists. Tootoo lead the game with 7 SOG's.

Finley's been my fan favorite ever since being drafted. I just hope that can carry on. Was it his first game that was worst one where he got pulled out during first period?

God, Both Rinne and Finley are making it hard to decide which deserves the ice time. What a bad problem to have

Any chance we see Finley as Vokie's backup next season and Rinne as the Ads starter? I think it's a good possibility.

admiral stats (players of pred fan interest) after 17 games;

haydar 5g/10a..15 pts
shishkanov 8g/6a...14 pts
beech 6g/8a..14 pts
pivko 5g/9a..14 pts (only 12 games played)
klein 1g/12a...13 pts
zanon 2g/8a..10 pts
tootoo 3g/4a.. 7 pts (13 games played)
weber 3g/4a...7 pts

upshall with 6 pts in only 5 games played leads the team in average points per game played (1.20 avg pts per game)

zanon leads the team in +/- at +7,while klein is at +5, and tootoo is at +4

brookbank leads in PIM's with 60, beech leads in minor penalties taken with 13

finley 4-0-0, 3 shutouts, 1.54 gaa, .950 save %
rinne 7-5-1, 1 shutout, 1.90 gaa, .925 save %

in addition to the fine play of both finley and rinne, it's good to see shishkanov and pivko stepping up here,as well as klein, weber and zanon on the blueline

of any goalie in the ahl with over 4 starts, finley now leads in gaa and save %, while rinne is 3rd in the league in gaa

Was in Chi-town for this one.
PP was slow at the beginning, but Haydar and Co. picked it up as the second wore on.
The Ads are still a much faster team than the Wolves.
I too was in a daze trying to get a grip on the all of the call-ups I missed last week. Seemed like it was the Milwaukford Adhogs out there.
Pivko was out of the line-up as his wife gave birth to a daughter, I believe.
Was hoping to see Pekka, but Finley got the start. Wasn't tested too often as time progressed, but made all the saves he needed to. He had clear lines on the puck, not many screens. Chicago had a lot of rushes/preassure in the first, but the Ads got their act together as the game progressed.
This is a testament to the Ads D Klein, Weber, Brookbank et al. gave the Wolves fits. Klein really doesn't look 6'1", he seemed to be dwarfed by Weber and Brookbank. T.J. Reynolds was OK as was Lutz for the 5th or 6th time being called-up this year.
Pavel Rosa looked pretty good, good speed decent stickhandling, and a sweet 2 on 1 goal in the 3rd.
Only Wolves goal was while Tootoo was in the box, but he is still playing like a different person this year in Milwaukee.
Beech can't win face-offs, not sure what the stats sheet says, but he was beat pretty badly on some. Not a bad AHLer though.
I miss Gamache, Upshall, Smithson, Suter, Hammer, and Hrkac, but Haydar, Rosa, Beech, Tootoo, Weber, and Klein work just fine.
Not sure what was up with the bad play Berry had in the second, he pinned a Chicago player against the boards, suspended him mind you, and then perforemed a two-armed body-slam for a 2x-minor (interference, roughing). That was the last thing that Wolves fans had to cheer about the rest of the game.
Said it before, but the Ads are still pretty fast.

I didn't mind being one of 10 people in the arena cheering when the Ads scored.
Didn't have quite as good of a time at Soldier Field on Sunday when the Pack played the Bears.

Hope to finally get to more games at the Bradley Center to catch them at home after the Holidays.
