@SabresProspects - Giorgio Estephan has 1+2 as Lethbridge is cruising 7-0 over Medicine Hat mid-3rd. Nice assist in 1st - scored all alone in front late in 2nd.

Giorgio Estephan collected a goal and two assists Friday to earn the game's second star as Lethbridge cruised past Medicine Hat 7-0.
Estephan started things off with a beautiful assist to set up the game's first goal at 7:28 of the opening period.
Estephan captured his second tally of the year late in the middle frame when a Tyler Wong feed found him all alone in front of the net.
With nine points in six games (Tied-16th in WHL), Estephan will look to hit double digits Wednesday when the Hurricanes host Regina.

Picking up right where he left off last season. Didn't produce much in the 1st half last year, but turned it on later in the season.
Thanks for the updates, Lax.

LethbridgeHurricanes ‏@WHLHurricanes -
Blazers will skate away with a 7-3 win ending the #WHLCanes streak at 8 games. Canes are now 10-3 on the season.
Canes are back at it on Saturday night as they skate into Kelowna who are 9-5 on the season. Game time is 8:00 pm MT.

LaxSabre - Estephan finished with the two goals - was a - 2 +/- on the evening.

It would be nice if Rochester can get another Dan Catenacci-type out of Estephan, the Amerks could definitely use some scoring depth on the rise.

Estephan remains hot with a pair of second period goals tonight at Calgary .. nearly had the hat trick early in the third with a wrister labelled for high stick corner, but the goalie got a small piece of it .. first goal was a wired wrister from the right wing and the second was a breakaway:

Liked this pick a lot at the time. Guy didn't have that impressive numbers in his draft year, but pretty much all the points from his draft year were in the second half showing great progress.

I am never keen on direct player comparisons because it sets unrealistic expectations. I think he looks quicker than his highlights from last year.

I was asking because I was sort of seeing Ribeiro in the highlights.

If Estephan makes it to the NHL and we manage to draft Puljujarvi...Ray will probably just retire.

He survived Paul Szczechura. He'll survive Gloria Estefan too.

Ray just called Szczechura - "Chewey".

@SabresProspects -

Giorgio Estephan hits the 20-goal mark with the GWG as Lethbridge edges Calgary 4-3. Estephan heating up with goals in five straight games.

Is this guy playing wing or at center? Hopefully natural winger.

Estephan's been centering Bellerive and Wong on the first line.

Estephan sneaked in from the right point on the PP, but didn't snipe this one per usual; instead, gets an assist from the carom:
