Foster called up...

The man with a million dollar slapshot and good size but defensive awareness like Bouchard...

LOL Joel Bouchard? Hopefully not him either...

I guess we do need more offense, but do we want to be offensive?

I would've preferred to see a forward called up. I'm guessing this means Burns isn't going back to the blueline for a while yet.

It would seem so. Burns was on the fast track to being our best defenseman, too.

And I guess I am in the same boat: why did we call up another defenseman? Excluding that third period (where they were shorthanded how many times?) against Calgary, this is still a solid defensive club. What needs to improve is scoring/offense. I know DR and JL both want a tight defensive system, which is fine, but it's going to be tough to win if they only can score two goals a game.

That said, here's hoping Foster does us nothing but good!

It mentioned in the paper that the Wild want to seem more scoreing out of there D-corps... Foster was leading the Aero's defensemen in points. I could see him getting 2nd PP icetime...

And lets face it guys...Tjarnqvist and Ferguson are HORRIBLE!!

best offseason signings ever, dont forget to throw Huggy Bear as part of that trifecta. if we had taken all the money we gave those three players we could have signed someone who could have helped our team like a legitimate D-men or a top line center or a scoring winger. Bondra or Satan come to mind off the top of my head.

I like Ferguson, and I think Tjarnqvist is starting to come around. Call me nuts, it's OK.

Ferguson's game probably doesn't translate too well to the tighter calls. I think he can be more effective if given time to adapt.

Ferguson is OK, but Tjarnqvist has looked horrible in the last few weeks. It seems like half the goals scored against us were from his man or his spot in the defensive zone.

Theoritically Burns moves back to D, with White coming back, so bringing Foster up means that they are not happy with somebody, and my vote would with Tjarnqvist. Just my opinion.

I think most fans (or at least me) are tired of the Wild using dmen as forwards. This move seems strange to say the least but I've come to expect such things now. Your having trouble scoring so let's call up a dmen and play another dmen as a forward to generate more offence? See the logic? Just have to deal with the way things are done, I suppose.

Wow, nice debut. Let's hope for a hat-trick

By the way, if he gets the trick, will that be a first for a Wild D?

#1 star of the game, and two goals. If this is the sort of performance we can expect from him every night, I think he may be here a while.

Very good debut for the kid tonight. Good shot, good passer, pretty good defensively. Okay, he can stay.

He's playing about as much as Kuba is this afternoon, threw a check, has a goal and an assist. Why wasn't he up earlier!?

Seems like Foster is the shot in the arm that our enigmatic defense needed. Let's hope he can keep it up.

I was working so I didn't catch the game, but the stat sheet looks pretty darn good: led the team in minutes, a goal, assist, and a plus-3.

I'd say that's a solid effort.

Do you think, he'll keep it up? He's off to a hot start! There's no doubt about it.
