I don't blame him for any of the goals.

Phew! Any update on Matty? He only played 7 minutes tonight.

I'll agree Garon looked horrible...but the D was even uglier....but a win is a win even if I have no more finger nails

He should have been able to stop at least one of the Naslund goals. There was a moment where a Vancouver player was behind the net and Garon was lying on his back making snow angels. It almost made me punch my television.

Garon is the one who looked horrible? Try the Kings defense. None of the goals that Garon gave up were bad. All of them were terrific effort by the Canucks (especially Naslund) and poor coverage by the Kings. Don't try to pin this on the goaltending. Garon was solid.

Try to defend his snow angel adventure. He was just lucky that no Canuck was able to hit it in while he was on his back.

If Garon looked shaky in the 3rd, consider the kind of defense that the Kings were giving him. Why do you expect the goaltender to be infallible when the rest of the team is anything but? That's not the same standard that you apply to LaBarbera.

If Labarbera was in net tonight and let in 3 goals in a span of 10 minutes I would have made the same statement about him. The defense did look bad. But at least one of those goals should have been saved.

The D was not good. Kings really need to pick up a #6 guy before they playoffs. Dempsey is better than Weaver, but they both aren't that solid.

I kind of doubt that. LaBarbera didn't get any criticism from anybody for the 4-0 loss to Phoenix. The team fell asleep in front of him, as they did again in the 3rd tonight in front of Garon.

He also made some great saves so you have to take that into account. I blame the defense and with Matty out...I guess that effected us a lot. But I still think it was a good victory. We outplayed them most of the night.

I bet the LA Galaxy got a kick out of that (no pun intended)...

If it would have been a 4-3 loss I bet he would have been criticized especially if the Kings went into the 3rd period with a 2 goal lead. That being said you can't blame the goalie when your team is shut out.

Just got back from the game... I can't believe ANYONE could say it was GARON that looked horrible. He was really hung out to dry on more than a few of the Canucks chances.

The difference is that the Kings had some similar chances at the other end that Auld made the saves on. Good goalies make the routine saves.....that's it. Great goalies stop pucks that they have no business stopping. Garon has not done that. However I have seen Labarbera do this on a few occasions.

Loved Avery's play tonight.

Garon was cool, he was really left out to dry at the end I think.

Holy crap, I agree with Osprey.

So it looks like Matty and Parros both hurt their ankles, so Flinn and Petiot are the next call ups?

Blatant elbow against Avery when he got hurt and no call. It's one thing not to call ticky tack calls if you dont like Avery, but if he gets hurt you should call it. How many penalties did Allen end up having, at least 4.

You must be blinking every time Garon makes a great save. "There's a Visine for that."

according to the NHL shift chart, he took the opening shift of the second period, and then one more in the middle of the second, and called it a night.
