Official Game Thead:NYR-CBJ

Games at 7:00.

The Juice is in the nets. Could be a nasty game (as games against the sports coats see to be)

Post 'em if you got 'em.

Rangers bounce back and win 4-1. PP gets it's act together and provides 2.

NYR: Kovalev PP, Kovalev, Nedved PP, Lindros

CBS: Nash - he's scored on us in every game including preseason I believe.

I think Rangers win 3-2.

Rangers goals by Nedved, Kovy, and Lindros.

BJ's goals by Nash and Marchant.

Regardless of the Score

I perdict either the cleanest game ever or a brawl of epic proportions.

I predict 3 fights. Rangers fighting - Barnaby, LaCouture, Purinton
Jackets - Ling, Shelley and Wright

5-2 Jackets. Do they still have Geoff Sanderson? Remember Rick Nash against us last year?

BJ's score first and are up 1-0. Defense has done nothing so far and Jussi has not looked good so far.

Penalty on Barnaby for goalie interference. Sure do wish Purinton would stay near the blue line and stop going to the net.

PP goal by the BJ's up 2-0.

Alright powerplay rangers
Knutsen goes for interference

Looks like columbus wants to get a shortie!

EDIT> quick update, Petrovicky has scored his first goal for the Thrashers, even if he doesn't score again he'll have more goals than Simon will. Glad ya let him go Glen, smart move keeping simon!

Purinton and shelley fighting.............

good swinging fight, shelley gets the nod as far as i'm concerned....

i'm glad purinton waited until it was in the Rangers offensive zone to fight.

Barnaby goats a columbus player into a penalty.........
Rangers pp upcoming.

Rangers don't score on the PP. Lindros trips Sydor but it was ruled diving. Also a delayed penalty during all this so they go on the PP again.

Lindros goes for hooking Sydor goes for diving.

Why o why can't they get rid of this stupid rule........it's either a trip or a dive.........if you got tripped you didn't dive. If you dove you didn't get tripped.

Rangers although end up with another powerplay.......good thing we have Messier out on the powerplay.

powerplay Columbus, too many men on the ice. Hlavac skated slowly to the bench.

Columbus powerplay again Malakhov goes for tripping. That penalty had to be taken due to sloppy play by the Rangers.

End of the 1st

time for another 6 or 7 beers
