Personally, I like MY hockey hair the best, considering I haven't been a wuss and cut it off since watching "E.R." or "The O.C."

I liked Doug Gilmour's 1993-94 hair, or Steve Yzerman's 1992-93 'do. best. Not too obnoxious, but looked like a MAN'S hairdo, instead of a Marine haircut (like far too many of today's "men").

Alfredsson's hair last season was pretty amusing. Perhaps that's who Kovalev was trying to emulate when he wore a blond afro to the Habs Halloween party?

Ding-ding-ding. We have a winner!! Also Chris Simon's hair, combined with his ethnic background, was way cool. It's a shame he shaved it off.

I'd like to nominate Handzus for the ugliest mullett of all time. At least Alfie's hair was amusing.

Mike Ricci 2-3 years ago had classic hair.

When I was 16, I had hair down to my shoulders, and whenever I had a helmet on...WOW it was annoying...I don't know how some guys stand it.

Iafrate had a 'nice' mullet in his days as a Capital.

I think Orr has the best hair though.

My faves: Commodore, Jagr and Handzus

I was surprised when I watched a TB game to see that Andreychuk had a mullet! My first thought "Can he still GROW hair?"

oh, and id also like to put in a good word for guy lafleur. while very common-place when he was off the ice, one the ice was completely different. him streaking down the wing with his locks flowing in the air was a thing of beauty IMO.

If you're taking this from the CBC HNIC after-hours poll they had last night, then i don't see how anyone can argue against Radek Bonks mullet from when he was drafted.

Truly, it was the king of mullets.

You are all forgetting, by far the BEST hair in the history of the NHL. And the winner is...

....Al Iafrate.

What made Iafrate's hair great is that he had three haridos on one head! He had tight curls on top to create an afro. Then he had the huge bald spot. Third, he had the long hair at the back.

Afro/bald/mullet all on one head all at one time. It was amazing.
