One Ref or Two Refs

Is it just me or has the officiating gotten worse since the NHL went to 2 refs. In last night's game vs the Canucks, Staios was highsticked by Matt Cooke and no call. Staios needed 8 stiches as he was cut near the eye. Apparently Moreau was cut as well with no call. How can 2 officials miss calls like that? Another thing that's really frustrating is how some of the elite teams get away with things that the other teams don't

Maybe they just need to hire some good ref's?
