Woz is currently on IR and injured with the Marlies

Andy got hit in the head with the puck on a shot ..

He is suffering from a concussion as a result and the Marlies hope he is back in aweek or two .. He has been cleared for light practice and is riding the exercise bike ..

WOZ plays a very safe game .. He uses his large frame and size to his advantage as well as his long reach .. He best ability comes in the defensive zone of blocking defenders from going to the net ..

His upside is very limited and a depth dman as a 6th or 7th in the NHL is really all to realistically expect IMO ..

He has a hard shot. That doesn't neccessarily make it good though.

Not great, but good enough to get the job done.

Decent. Also at 6'5 he uses his size and reach to keep people from going around him.

Well before he was hurt, he was playing fine. But probably not quite as good as you'd expect from a guy who cracked the team in camp. A couple other guys are outplaying him.

Well he already did- so yes. If we get some injuries he could be back. Colaiacovo would be called up first though.

Assets- Extremely strong. Good positioning and rarely makes a bad play. Goes unnoticed throughout the game in a good way.

Flaws- Considering the style of game he has, he needs to play tougher and more intimidating to add another dimension to his game. Very poor puck handler which can cause problems in the defensive end some times.

Pretty solid injury call up or 7th defenceman. Maybe a bottom pairing guy at most if he gets really lucky.

Leaf Lander, did you steal those career potentials off TSN before they were changed?

IMO, although I'm biased.

McCabe, #1 or PP QB.
Kaberle, top pairing offensive d-man.
Klee, 2nd pairing defensive d-man.
Pilar, 2nd pairing offensive d-man.
Berg, top 6 defenseman.
Khavanov, top 6 defenseman.
Belak, would-be enforcer.
Woz, 3rd pairing defenseman.
Colaiacovo, top 4 defenseman.
Kornwall, top 6 defenseman.
