I appreciate the opportunity to read any Kings news.

I hope that they are not counting on keeping the payroll as is to make their profit though.

Man that union is a mess huh? I've never really understood the staunch union supporter, especially in sports. Eagleson sold them down the river, Goodenow wasted a year of their salary, and now they are having a power struggle???

Avery is right when he calls them out, but all he gets is grief. I was elected shop steward in my union and was later removed by the union for disagreeing with their negotiator. A petition was signed to get me reinstated because of the good relationship I had with the management, but the union did not care about its members' wishes. Unions fight for themselves, not for the workers/players IMO and it is even obvious with the NHLPA. You don't get to appoint a union leader without union approval!

Unless the union does not care what its members think

I don't get it

Why is it so hard for the King's to make money? Since Staples Center opened they've always had decent attendance. Is attendance not the main source of the franchises revenue?

If the King's have never made money in thier entire 40 year history, then why do they even exist?

Because the money they've "lost" in the AEG reign has been far more than made up for by the real estate deals which wouldn't have been approved without the ownership of the team -- JMO, of course.
