Red wing player collapses on bench

Announcers do not no who it is,but I saw the doctors doing CPR on him. Players were told to go to their dressing rooms. Ambulance responding.

there is no video, according to the red wing annoucers. They were doing CPR on him, and his finacee was escorded to the bench area by shanahan and draper. this is serious stuff.

But the good news is apparently the paramedics acted very quickly.

lets all pray for Jiri, and hope he's okay.

The reports of the puck still aren't confirmed and they are starting to doubt that report.

Fischer has had heart problems in the past. Hopefully this isn't as serious as it seems and hes back int he lineup soon.

Now they are saying that he is breathing, but unconcious. Speculation is that it may be a stick to the throat.

if you are struck by a hard object on your upper chest over your heart it can trigger a heart stoppage. many little leaguers now wear a special guard for this reason.
