Sabres will win a close one. It'll be a night decided by the powerplay units.
Our PK has been brutal. At least we're not on the road.

I think Weekes comes to play and NY wins 4-1.
Let's all hope I'm wrong.

If Buffalo wins, I hope the Rags fans don't pin the loss on the refs likle they did the last game.

Only reason Ranger fans blamed the Refs the last game was because we were screwed of a goal that would of tied it....not saying we would of won, but it did change things. But, that was a long time ago, and this is a new game....breaks, both good and bad, happen to all teams during an 82 game season, it's all good.

Should be a good game, tonight. No doubt.

I gotta say 5-2 Rags.

Drury
Vanek

Mika is awful. And Ruff grows a set and leaves him in for the Isles game.

I'd love to see a shootout tonight and have it come down to Jagr and Vanek as the last shooters. Ohhh boy.

Also, they need to put Kotalik on the shootout and just have him rip one from the blueline

I'm really hoping we see Weekes tonight, because the few games I've seen of Lundqvist, he's been freakin awesome.

I'm going to say 4-2 Buffalo if Weekes starts for NYR and Mika starts for us, and 3-2 Buffalo shootout win if Lundqvist is in for NYR.

If Biron starts, I'll say 5-4 NYR with Weekes or 5-2 NYR with Lundqvist.

I forsee Hecht with a 2 goal night tonight no matter which goalie is in (Deutschland Uber Alles just came on randomly in Winamp, so it must be a good sign!)

I consider this just another cheap shot at Biron. The reason I say that is from what I gather it's clear that Mika is starting tonight. Why add silly comments like that? This is getting ridiculous IMO.

OT: Sabres are ranked 25th in the TSN Power Rankings...

That's just ridiculous IMO ---> Bruins at 20th, Trashers at 19th? How do we end up behind them?

I'd love to see the Blue 'n Gold tonight considering we're retiring Gare's #18, but I've heard nothing but specualtion on it. Seems logical to don the oldies doesn't it?

I doubt this guy has even watched any of our games. There's no way this team is the 5th worst in the league. It's all good though, perhaps we could use this as a motivator?

I'm saying exactly what I think would happen - at this point Mika gives us a better chance to win. Also, I wasn't sure where the quote was taken from that Mika was starting, so I took it lightly that he'd be starting tonight because it seems like it'd take a mini-revelation to turn Ruff around on him.

Anyways, everyone has a few players that we'd like to see moved - whether it's Biron, Drury, Dumont, etc. Personally I can definitely do with or without Drury and Dumont - they don't hurt the team by being there, but I think their trade value/cap room could turn into some defensive help. As far as Biron goes, I think he's just about worthless at this point and I think that Leighton could probably do about the same job as him right about now. I've given him about 10 games now and he's proven ZERO to me. I never liked him to begin with, and I definitely don't now.

It's just an opinion, though.

Also, Slangston - love the avatar, possibly the best new show on TV in a looooong time.

I don't want to dwell on that game. But one ref was trigger happy with the whistle that game when we scored late in the game to tie it. The Rangers got completely outplayed, but the refs had something to do with the loss. Anyway, I'm over it. I'm actually worried about this game a lot. The Rangers looked slow and just plain bad last game. Although one thing they can hang their hats on is that they did have some chances but like usual they couldn't finish. Anyway, I'm really worried about this game and wouldn't be suprised at all if the Rangers lose.

Rags 5
Sabres 3

-The Ranger forwards will be more patient w/ their shots, letting Mika overcommit.
-Tallinder sits
-Attendance 15,007 (I hope Gare gets at least that many). Doesnt say much for the franchise if the attendance is weak and they retire a # that night. Even if you dont think Gare should have his number retired, its a big night for the franchise. The house should be packed. I'll cross my fingers. Sad to see the team struggle at the gate during the week. Hopefully, they will do better when footbal is over. And it does look like the Bills season is just about there too.
