This game scares me, the Bruins have to win one sometime soon.

4-3 Bruins

Bruins: Thornton (2), Sammy (2)

Leafs: Allison (2), Stajan

This is almost do or die for the Bruins while we've had 4 days to bask in the glow of our streak. 5-2 Bruins.

Another game that should be easier to pick than it is. Leafs at home on a hot streak, Bruins on road as cold as can be. Should be a slam dunk, but Leafs have been known to bounce these off the rim, like a Raptor power forward.

But, I want to go down, if I go down, with the ship not, like Rand (who picked Boston), via ropes like a rat in the night .

Toronto 5 Boston 3

Here's my 2 cents:

Boston are currently ranked 22nd in the league, with Toronto much higher at 12th, with 1 game played less (adv)

Boston have this season a 7-10-5 record,
Toronto have 12-7-2

In the last 10 games:
Boston have a 2-5-3
Toronto have had a 7-3-0 (adv)

The game being played at the Air Canada centre, the Leafs have a healthy 8-3-1 home record (adv)

Injuries:
Boston: Patrick Leahy (RW) Broken finger, sidelined indefinitely
Brian leetch (D) Right knee injury, sidelined indefinitely
Ian Moran (D / RW) Knee injury, sidelined indefinitely

Toronto: Martin Czerkawski (RW) Shoulder injury, day-to-day

Team Leaders:
Bruins - Murray, 10 goals; Thornton, 21 assists and 29 points; Hal Gill, 36 PIM.

Maple Leafs - Eric Lindros, 10 goals; McCabe, 21 assists and 30 points; Wade Belak, 38 PIM

On the issue of powerplays:
the Leafs have the advantage as

the Bruins have: Power play: 19.8 percent (26 for 131), 7th in NHL. Penalty killing: 83.9 percent (120 for 143), 11th in NHL

the Leafs have a stronger: Power play: 24.4 percent (33 for 135), 1st. Penalty killing: 82.1 percent (106 for 129), 14th in nhl

On the issue of goaltenders: Boston's Hannu Toivonen has a (4-2-3 record , 0 SO, 3.22 GAA); Andrew Raycroft (3-8-2, 3.56 GAA)

the Leafs have a more solid GAA and wins record, with Ed Belfour (10-5-2, 3.28 GAA); & Mikael Tellqvist (2-2-0, 2.85) As a leafs fan, I'm not too fussed which goaltender goes in goal, but it might be good considering the last game to put Tellqvist back in goal

So far this season, the Leafs have a 2-1 (win) advantage over the Bruins

with the last game, on thursday; the Maple Leafs had a 4-1 win At Boston, Lindros had a goal and an assist, and Tellqvist made 31 saves

Players that could be strong potential scorers and assisters in tonights game:

Bruins: Sergei Samsanov, Glen Murray, Joe Thornton (who can't seem to score against the leafs recently (although he did get 3 assists), but maybe tonight he'll try and get passed it)
Leafs: Lindros, Allison, Sundin, Mccabe

My rough prediction:

Boston Bruins 2: Toronto Maple Leafs 5

Just simulated the game on NHL 2006 and I got 6-4 Bruins, so I'll go with that.
