Congratulations eric i must say he is not the player he used to be (how can you blame him) but has been a pleasent surprise imo. when mats went down i thought he really stepped up. anyways i hope you keep up the good work. on a different note i really wish this thing with nolan didnt go so badly i would have loved to see nolan with lindros on a line

Congrats to the Big E. You have been an excellent addition at centre ice. You've met my expectations. But remember it is the playoffs that matter for long suffering leaf fans. Stay healthy.

And to those people out there who claim that Eric is so injury prone, his little buddy Peter Forsberg played his 600th game last nite. So...those who say Forsberg has turned out that much better than Eric, I think one would have to think again...at least in the durability issue.

I think the difference between Forsberg and Lindros is that when healthy, Forsberg is still at the peak of his game, whereas no matter how well Lindros plays now, there is the perception that he cannot return to his pre-concussion level of play when he was on his way to establishing himself as one of the greats, which is the case.

I agree. The point I was making is that while Forsberg is by far a better player now, in regards to durability over their careers...Eric is simply more durable...and dives less. hahahahhaha

Lindros is just as fragile as Forsberg. The difference in the number of games played has something to do with the fact that Eric broke into the league two seasons before Forsberg did.

It doesn't matter though. Lindros has been a good pick up for us, and that's what is important.
