Nasty Nasty

After just watching Pronger cross check Kariya after a goal was scored (and Selanne flatten on the same after-goal fun), and the Dallas-Nashville fun (tootoo alone is worth buying a ticket), Orpik's attempt to injury etc., it is interesting how nasty the games can be this early in the season - its as if the players have had all summer to be nice and they just can't wait to dish out some pain again.

Yeah, it makes you wonder how many players would be in prison if they didn't have the game as an outlet to inflict pain.

Did anyone retaliate against Pronger? Avs might be in for a rough season. Do Worrell and McAllister player regularly? Worrell might, I know McAllister won't.

Blake went after Pronger right after he did the act. Other than that, Granato didn't use McAllister much as it was a close game all night--ditto for Cummins (who IMO will be more useful than Mac this year). Worrell was scratched due to a minor injury sustained during camp.

Worrell has been out with tendenitis in his elbow. I'm not sure if Mc Allister was playing tonight because I don't remember hearing his name. Then again, I was flipping back and forth between the other games and that one.

Big Mac played, and was decent. He blocked a shot, but I noticed that the play tilted torwards the Avs end when he was out
