It looks like each King is playing with a couple Turkeys in their pants. They are just plain awful tonight. They haven't done anything right tonight.

Btw. What did everyone think of Kariya's dive.

Looked way too realistic. Needs to attend the Avery school of comically-exaggerated dives. I hear this year's keynote speaker is former graduate\valedictorian Mike Ribeiro.

"The key is...make it look like you got SHOT! The refs love that!"

If Kariya is going to force Visnovsky to haul him down, he is never going to gain the kind of notoriety we'd all like him to attain.

Quit the arguing, guys. It's petty and pointless.

As have I, and I'm trying to see this supposed "dive." Can I borrow your Kings-Coloured glasses? Maybe then I'll see what you see.

whether he's head first or not has no bearing on if it's a clean check or boarding.

Boarding is just causing the player to be thrown violently against the boards.

it wasn't a dive and Visnovsky didn't even try to make a play on the puck. That call is as easy as they get.

It wouldn't be a Kings\Preds game without it

At any rate, you're correct. I'll sit back and enjoy the game. I'm too full of turkey to argue without upsetting my stomach, anyhow.

Uhhhhh...no...read the rule book. Boarding is being checked from behind a couple of feet away from the boards so that the forward goes head first into the boards.

You can borrow them anytime, but Id expect your Predator-Coloured glasses in return. If you got a few extra pairs that'd be nice as well so maybe the seven other people Im watching the game with can finally see the supposed 'tackle'.

Right. You deserve to sit back and enjoy a great win. Don't take any of the fun away by arguing with people who will never concede (same as you). Great day to be a Preds fan.

Hrmmm, gotta love it when another team's mod comes over and randomly talks crap about one of your players. I know there is a general ummm lets say hatred for Avery, but still Kariya is the king of all divers, so I am inclined to believe he dived on the play. Oh well to each his own, I'll just keep myself on the Kings board. Next game maybe the Kings can chill on the turkey, they seem to be filled to the brim with tryptophan. I'm off to bed, and hopefully when I wake up we wont have been shutout.

-Nice job Army, now I am going to bed.

Rule 44.

A minor or major penalty, at the discretion of the Referee, based upon the degree of violence of the impact with the boards, shall be imposed on any player who checks an opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to be thrown violently in the boards.

How in the hell does Gleason get a misconduct there? Third man in? Yeah right. He was only the second man in trying to get Hordichuk off of Avery's back.

The key word there is thrown. A player gets hit from behind and thrown into the boards. Have you ever seen a boarding call made when a player wasn't hit from behind? I haven't.

That's the definition of a 'Third man' call.

You kept insisting that a player had to hit the boards head first. As if their head had to hit.
