While that wasn't a trip by Ovechkin, they should've called it just to make up for the 3 missed calls on the the play where Betts broke in alone on Kolzig. None of the announcers wondered why Betts was sliding on his belly in the 1st place when it was pretty clearly the sticks in his torso and skates. Then Kolzig pushed his face into the ice. 3 penalties all missed. Just make up for it with 1 call for crying out loud. The Rangers, as bad as they're playing, would be doing better with more even-handed officiating.

Why is it a bush play? Use a legal stick and you wouldn't have any problems.

I agree. We'd do the same thing if we had the right info.

Look at Jagr. Don't make me angry - you wouldn't like me when I'm angry...

These guys can do alot to the blades they get w/ heat. They have to be within a cetrain curve and the blade also has to be a cetain width. I'm a goalie and never got into all this stuff.

I am 100% I heard that there was a new rule which allowed sticks to have unlimited curve. It was reported with all the other rule changes...

Exactly. A lot of players, before taping the stick, will heat and bend them to what they like. Obviously Jaromir bent his a bit too much.

One thing before the shoot out even goes down. They have been hitting Jagr alot tonight. Prior to the call in OT there were several pretty big hits on the guy. I know you can'te retaliate on every hit but other teams will see this and keep on it. Someone has to do something especially of this occurs when the Rangers are up in the score which so far this season has occurred alot. Did you see Hordichuk go after Avery the other night. if not go to hockeyfights.com and check it out.

They put the blade square against the ice, then they have a messurement cube, if they can slide that cube under the blade its illigal.
