No surprises here. Many of us that have watched him for 3 seasons didn't think he was ready for the NHL. The Kings staff didn't think he was ready for full-time work in the NHL. I'd like to thank the Phoenix organization for allowing Lehoux the opportunity to play in the NHL. Maybe now that two NHL organizations including one coached by Lehoux's idol have basically decided that he's not ready and allowed Lehoux to demonstrate that he is not NHL ready, Lehoux will wake-up....

I honestly believe Lehoux TRIED to play bad with the Yotes so he could be a King again. That said, no, he isn't ready for the NHL! (But might be very soon)

If he has an attitude like that, then the yotes would be better off without him. He doesn't impress on the ice.

LoL. Yes, it's said he has "attitude" issues.

Not a chance, playing for Gretzky was his "dream job"...

Yeah that'd be a lot better. Lehoux to Tambellini, he scores!

So if we do get him back, do we have to have him clear waivers, or is he over that?

It's my understanding that IF the Kings are the only team to place a claim on him they can assign him to Manchester without passing him through waivers. The Key is that the Kings must be the ONLY team to make a claim...If this is the case, Lehoux will be considered as having passed through waivers and then would be on the 30-day/10-game cumulative count on recalls to the NHL...

So this is where it gets dicey. If someone else makes a claim but we get him, we have to keep him on the Kings roster, or risk losing him again on waivers?

I guess we could, but hell he'd probably be the healthy scratch option, and I'd rather have Giuliano here in L.A.

If someone else claims him, he's probably going there. If more than one team places a claim, the team with the lowest percentage of possible points in the League standing at the time of the request for waivers gets him. So there are a lot of teams that would have priority over the Kings...

It's a done deal. The Kings have claimed Lehoux on waivers and assigned him to Manchester.

Time to put him back on the top prospects list. What was he, number 11 or so?

I would think that all depends on where he was when this all went down.
