Ahhaaaaa! I finally got to see it, and I know exactly where that move came from.
A few years back I saw Jagr pull that exact move on a breakaway, and since then I've practised it religiously. I think it was when he was still with the Caps, and everyone in the building thought he was dropping it back to the trailer, but instead he puts it upstairs.

I would bet money that this is Jagr's doing, and if so, Ranger fans should be very happy. Jagr seems like he's firing on all cylinders this season

Thanks to Nylander, Nieminen and Strudwick too. Each time the Caps scored these guys were able to even it. An amazing move by Malik. I was just shocked. That's got to go to the top of the highlight plays of the year. His reaction afterwards was also classic. I think there might be a few Malik detractors today giving his case another look.

Lemieux did same in regular season, but not in brakeaway, but in 1on1 situation. Couple of seasons ago.

great goal. I used to love doing that as well, but never did it in a game.

I love the shot, it even hits the water bottle. That clip is a keeper.

Much appreciated!

One of the kids had this up, but it was quicktime and didn't work for me. Crappy technology and all.

I'm ganna try uploading the whole shootout from beginning to end once I record it all
Yizee thanks for putting that vid up on rapidshare. I had my pvr all ready to record Rangers in 60, but b.c the game ran late, Rangers in 60 was pushed later so i only recorded 1/2 the game! And with that game not scheduled to replay again, I/we were all screwed.

If you have the 200 meg version (better quality) and willing to post it please do! The easiest way to do it is to split the video into under 50 meg parts and post them individually. (You could also make a torrent and share the whole file - but quite a bit more complicated) . I realize its a ton of work - if you can it would be amazing

Every few hours I just keep getting the urge to watch that goal again and each time I see it I just can't believe it.
