Looking forward to getting a good look at Ovechkin.

Any chance Mase gets the start, or do we wait until tomorrow?

I'd play Mason in this one since the Caps have less firepower overall than the Rags. Nothing against Mase but we need every point we can get to catch the Wings.

see where johnson and markov are definitely out for tonight, doesn't look like either even made the the trip..

i'm guessing mason in net tonight, with vokoun tomorrow... however, trotz might be thinking vokoun tonight with mason at home tomorrow, knowing we've been much stronger at home so far

we seriously need to win a couple of these road games over the next week or so against these eastern teams (@ WAS, @FLA, @TB).. we have to show we can win on the road too (4-2-3, but only 1-2-3 in our last 6 road games), we just cann't expect to stay this dominant at home for the rest of the way (13-2)..

I'll be there in section 102 near the attack twice end. Look for the older guy with the third jersey Hartnell jersey. Looking forward to seeing the boys play.

It's going to be even more amazing when we read "the Wings need every point to catch the Preds!"

hmm.. I think Id definetly go with Mason tonight. But the Caps can be deceptive, Ive seen a couple of games this season where they have really thrown some good rubber at the goaltenders.

Do you guys know any good sources for which goalie will be starting tonight? I've got a pool i've got to decide in the next few hours which goalie I want this coming week from the 7th-13th

I can have Lundqvist vs 7th Chi, 8th Nsh, 10th Stl, 13th Van
or Vokoun vs 7th Wsh, 8th NYR, 10th TB, 13th, FLA

This website has a pretty good track record on goalie start predictions, updated daily at around 11am. They have been keeping score and their track record is over 90% accuracy thus far this season. Not bad. Enjoy.

Weakest call ever on Eaton - but we killed off the minute of 5-3, got some help from the Caps though, they whiffed 2 shots and put a few into Mason's chest.

Now its time to put one in.

Just like I said - PP goal Zids. From Kimmo and Kariya.

2nd weakest call ever on Morrison, sets us up with a 4 on 3, Kariya and Timonen again assist on Zidlicky's 2nd of the night.

Yep - very solid. Caps have been puttin' it in his chest but he's also made some world class saves.

I saw you stand up and cheer in the 1st. I even made the comment to the wife, "hey, we got fans there!!!"
