-Emery's stats are great thus far.
-Platil got his first point today, still not much in the PIM department
-Giroux has 3 assists in 3 games.
-Laich has only one goal in 3 games.
Laich has been doing ok. He had a strong game in Philadelphia on Friday night. Saturday he was ok, but seemed to take a backseat to the vets on the team. Heard his name on this afternoons broadcast, but it didn't sound as if he was a big factor. Still, I can see that this kid has great talent and in time, will come out.

Platil hasn't embarassed himself. He's made a few good plays, but at times, he's been beaten and beaten bad by more experienced players. He's taken a few ill advised penalities, but nothing that has hurt the team. I will say that he does follow through well on his checks.
As for Giroux, he's been part of our best line thus far....the French Connection: Hamel/Corso/Giroux. Those guys have been flying. Still, I'm waiting for Giroux to really let go. He's had a few chances and either wiffed, didn't get the shot off or misfired...but he's much better this season than last.
