He's an amazing player no doubt. I'm sure you guys are really high on him. He's definitely not on the market or anything, but I was just wondering what sort of deal it would take to get him to Boston...

I'll start with:

Bergeron and Gill

for

Visnovski

If you change Gill to Boynton then sure.

The value's good player for player form a Kings perspective, but considering our weak defense it really wouldn't make much sense(like Reaper insinuated). If it were a more solid d-man than Gill, I'd say yeah, but that would probably throw the deal out of whack from a B's perspective.

I'd love to have bergeron, but, our defense would suck without Lubo.

Matty-Gill
Miller-Gleason
Corvo-Dempsey

If its Boynton instead of Gill, then Boston would need another forward.

Boynton and Bergeron

for

Visnovski and Cammalleri

Ok wit chu?

Gill makes it a NO DEAL for me. I've been a Bruins fan for close to 40-yrs now and I can honestly say I've never disliked a Bruin more than Hal Gill... Way overpriced and no more than a #5 or #6 when used properly and the Kings are ok defensively with lower pairing guys...

Now, we're (Bruins fan here) probably losing Sammy to FA after this season. Might just as well try to move him for a fair return.

Agreed. Gill is a Bruin whipping boy, and when I watch B's games, he's useless in my eyes. Imagine being that big, and not using your body. Same situation when we had Glen Murray.
Visnovsky is key for us, and we need to build around him, not trade him. We did the same with Schneider and now everybody wants him back. Teams have holes to fill, but you also create other holes if you make moves like this.
I like the players mentioned from Boston (Boynton, Bergeron, and Samsonov)....but what would it take to get em'! Samsonov is like a water-bug out there and would be a nice fit with us.

Bergeron is NOT overated. Like wabwat point out, he is quite young and is playing at a very high level. I would trade away a shot at the playoffs for a guy like him. We'd only be better next year-and in the long run.

I don't think Boston is in the market for defenseman like Visnovski, given the fact that they have Leetch and Tanabe, but stranger things have happened on Causway St....And Gill would be the showstopper.

KB and I use Gill as a comparison alot....Mad Max was "Hall Gill soft" if you know what I mean.

that all depends... do you mean like "you wanna get outta here... you talk to me!" - Max? or the Captain Walker - Max?

Thanks Dano, I couldn't remember his last name, and I did not want to refer to him as the "chain smoking Russian" because that's probably pretty vaigue........almost as much as Mad Max...

Ah. Mine fit too though. Remember the "Giant" with the "little person" as a brain.

We'd need to get a puck-moving dman in return. The rest of our Dmen are generally slugs in the area (save Timmy). I like that Redden idea that was floating around earlier in the season!
