Struggling? Why he wasn't sent to Reading with Bernie and Roussin is beyond me. Friggin guy had no points last game. NO SOUP FOR YOU TAMBS, YOU COME BACK, ONE YEAR...

Have you already posted this @ lgk KB?...Ehm, sorry, Dano?
I'm curious to see the mess that this news will cause...

BTW, I'm for a Tambellini-Cammalleri-Brown line for tomorrow night in Chicago!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Brown sent down.

I doubt it considering what AM said today about the vets.

Just a thought...and what if DT is working on a trade which involves Tambs?
I hope not...

Even though he said that about the Vets that doesn't stop the fact that Brown has been awful after his good start. Get him back in Manchester get him to play his game then call him back up. Thats what I've heard.

I believe that the Monarchs traveled to Albany yesterday. Which translates to them probably sending Bernie and Roussin to Reading yesterday. DT had said something about wanting to see how things went for the Kings last night before making any decisions about what they might do with the Kings roster before the road trip.

In short, it's likely the decision to send Bernie and Roussin to Reading was made a day or days before the decided to MAYBE recall Tambs. Remember, nothing is ***OFFICIAL*** yet and that's why I didn't title the thread ***OFFICIAL*** TAMBELLINI WATCH...

I don't think we even need to scratch someone - don't we have a free roster spot for Tambellini to take?

Either way - I hope JR doesn't mind signing more autographs or warming the bench for a game or two.

Me, either. It would help mitigate the loss to the Monarchs that Tambellini's call-up would cause, and Brown could certainly use some confidence.

I wouldn't sit Roenick for the game in Chicago. His best games of the season have been against the Hawks and his very best was the last time they played in Chicago. Besides, I'd be more upset with Luc if I were AM. That "backcheck" on the 4th Wings goal last night was awful and JR at least adds other things to the team, such as his speed and penalty killing. Tambellini, like Luc, is a LW, afterall. We may see a line of Tambellini-Roenick-Armstrong tomorrow night, with Luc either scratched or on the 4th line.

we can't send down brown right? cuase then he'll have to go through waivers. tambellini as well, if we bring him up, won't we hav eto send him thorugh waivers to send him down? or is there a trial period we can hold him up here?

im not too clear on the rules, anyone clarify?

I don't think Brown would need to go through waivers because he's still on his entry-level contract. I'm open to being corrected on this, though. Tambellini is certainly safe.

Considering the old CBA, you'd be sort of right. Under the old CBA Brown would be subject to waivers once he hit 80 NHL Games played. He's played in 56 according to his bio at TSN...

That's one of the good things about the new NHL. Now the Kings can afford to fly him 1st class. In the past, he would've been packed into the cargo hold and Leiweike would have criticized the Rangers for buying their prospects business class tickets.

He may already be in Chicago. The best reason that I can think of for being scratched tonight is the Kings wanted him on a flight that departed during the game.
