As a B's fan, I love these guys.

Does Primeau always work his *** off every shift like that? He wouldn't quit on any play tonight and drew a few penalties.

Stuart was very solid, took a penalty(but it was a necessary one, and Boynton let the guy get past him)

Sturm was outstanding, he could've had 4+ goals onight with some luck.

Sturm was awesome tonight. With Boyes and Bergeron, he had a great game tonight.

Primeau is a hard-worker, and was great in shutting down the Heatley line(with a lot of help from Hannu Toivonen).

Stuart was paired with Boynton. He had a very good game tonight and played well on the powerplay.

One of the articles I read today was a comment from Sturm that perhaps "it was time" for a change in his career.

All the guys aren't quitters and will do their hardest for their new team.

Sturm is a fine player when he is going hard, just look at how he played vs. Detriot!

That said, I watched some of the game, and it was very odd to see Sturm especially in anything except teal, or a Germany uniform.

I'm pulling for them, and this finally gives me a reason to watch the Bruins.

I think that Sharks fans and Bruins fans will be watching each other's games this year.

I must say, you Shark fans are really classy and nice. You are a great bunch.

I didn't laugh at you- I agree with you.

Strum and Primeau- nice energy from these guys! We need it so desperately, and it was so nice to see Sturm's enthusiam after he scored the goal! Primeau worked his butt off all night as well. Stuart was stellar for us.

Best game we've had all season. I love these guys.

Thank the heavens you didn't check out the SJsharks.com chatroom.

B's have always been my favorite eastern team. Hope all the guys that went Beantown kick some a cause they were loved here.

Thanks, It's appreciated! I too like the great bunch of people on the Sharks forum...very friendly place, and even when I vent and say things that come from out field, I don't get bashed, but constructive criticism.

Like on my spelling errors haahha.

BTW, I went to Boston this past spring for a high school hockey show case and the hospitality was excellent.

I wouldn't mind living in Boston or Mass some day.

Hopefully Joe's debut tommorow is as successful as our night tonight...The sharks are my adopted stepchild for as long as 19 plays there.

I just saw a picture of Sturm in a Boston jersey.

Now I remember why I've refused to look at a Ricci picture of him in a Phoenix jersey.

I hope its a great trade for both sides.

We desperately needed another top 4 defenseman and more speed, and based on one game, we got it. I loved Sturm, Primeau and Stuart's attitude and they energized our club tonight.

Our rookie goalie Toivenen saved our buns several times, but this was also a recharged Bruins team.

Sturm was opening up the defense with his speed and had a nice redirection off a nice Boyes' pass.

Stuart played solidly and really helped out Boynton, who has been having issues of his own. Hopefully those two get both of themselves on track by having solid partners. sturat also did a nice job on PP with a crisp pass to bergeron on the weak side for a one timer by Hasek.

Primeau gave great effort and skated well. played very smart hockey from what i saw, and caused several penalties to be called.

I hope Thornton does great for SJ. He seems like a likeable guy and has all the tools.
IMO he needed to be divorced from Murray, who is a great sniper but makes Thornton too one dimensional. Thornton is an excellent passer but doesn't shoot enough to keep defenders honest. I think he needs to have a couple of speedier skaters/finishers on his line which he can free up. If he starts to skate and shoot and play with a bit more of his size, you'll have a top 5 player. He has put up great points in Boston, but its not an easy place to play when a rabid fan base expected you to be that top 5 guy every night.

It was a pleasure to have a bunch of Shark fans drop in on our GDT tonight. I know I'll be checking in on this board to see how Thornton is doing.

LR, hello! You will see great goal scoring celebrations from Sturm. I will miss those here in SJ. And Primeau became a favorite of mine a couple of weeks ago after taking that puck to the nose and promptly scoring after. Happened right in front of me while I was in the second row and I think it was the greatest thing I ever saw at any of my one front row game a season events.

Hope to see you around here, LR.
