And the fact that the duo had no clue what happened in OT is unacceptable.

Daunic in his infinite wisdom says it was in the neutral zone and thought the play shouldn't have been whistled dead. That was my take on it. Maybe he meant it was played in the neutral zone and that's why it was blown dead but it sure didn't seem like it.

Then the Malkin slew foot they blatantly ignore and don't care to explain. They don't say why Ekholm is visibly upset and going at Malkin. It's a dangerous play and they don't have a clue, yet again.

These two should not be calling games whatsoever.

I had the same thoughts.

I guess they saw the same thing as the refs on the OT trip....nothing

Maybe it's time to petition @PredsNHL & whatever the FoxSports twitter account is about this.

In fairness, I thought Willy was a good bit better yesterday. It appears at least he's working on it - Stu seems to be mailing it in. Lyndsay is NOT getting any better, not at questions, not at recapping.

That's not to say it was good or anything, just that I think Willy is at least trying to get to competent.

I don't know how everyone on here feels about John Forslund and Tripp Tracy, but they may be my favorite announcing team in the league. I sometimes go out of my way to watch a Hurricanes game just to hear their call.

I think I would pitch in to pay their salary to have them be the Preds broadcast team....

Willy has been around the team too long to be this bad at his job. Of course, he would sit at live radio events with a book of baseball stats while Hordi and Fiddler talked hockey ... but ...

I have a better chance at becoming a brain surgeon from reading up on it on the internet than Willy has at becoming knowledgeable about hockey.

As much flak as Pete and Terry got over the years they at least know hockey. It is painful now to watch and listen to the two clowns on TV. I guess it could be worse we could have Plaster and Howard. Lyndsay Rowley is just punching her ticket in the sport so she can move on to bigger an better things.
Im probably not the only one that when there is stoppage in play click over to another game just to keep from listening to these goofs.

It's amazingly painful to watch or listen to all 3.

Actually I think willy could do a decent job with the right partner. Grimson is

And the young lady has no smoothness or TV presence at all. Should be the minimum requirements even before the hockey knowledge.

I talked to Lyndsay for awhile before a game. Very nice girl. And much cuter in person. so I certainly prefer her in that role over Mark Howard, whi I truly couldn't stand lol.

Guess I will sync up the feeds again tonight, at least Petey makes for an entertaining call. Besides makes for some entertaining lipsynching during the interviews

Need to have folks behind Mark & Terry every home intermission with shirts

Maybe a Fire Stu for Christmas version

Lets get a few dozen of us to send in in-game-selfie contest photos with Fire Stu on them, have some Photoshopped and ready to go so we can overwhelm the input for a few games.

I was wondering what happened to Pete. Glad to hear he's still with the team.

I know - I take it back, that regressed into the normality of donkey-excrement that is Preds broadcasting these days. Maybe Willy just needs it to be Halloween every gameday????????

Honestly, as hard as @Predsident has worked on the in-house customer experience, you'd think that perhaps if we suggested that they work on the broadcast team we might get something........

I alternated between listening to Pete and Peterson and Willy and Stu both games this weekend. don't miss Pete's corny attempts at getting Crisp to laugh, but do enjoy his actual play by play enthusiasm and voice. Peterson at least knows what he's talking about and offers valid criticism even if his delivery is painful to listen to. decided the radio team is far ahead of the TV team in listenability.
