Looking up, Chris Mason with Crispy and Howard during pregame. Could he replace Stu, like right now??.

Maybe he has been on pre game all season, I rarely watch that

watched the replay again for laughs. was really painful to hear willy's bumbling long talk on trying to explain (to himself?) the over the glass delay of game penalty/no penalty right in the middle of our 3 straight goal stretch. and to hear frankenstu showing the highlights of the first period where we made 'great' simple hockey plays yet failing to show or even mention the failures of what might have been our worst period of hockey of the year and trailed 3-1.

I'm shocked that you're not showing outrage that Lindsey hung out with Sissons three times during the broadcast while ignoring you.

Who can forget Willy's epic call of the Josi/Karlsson goal?

"He scoooores!"
(silence)
(silence)
"Dynamic. Roman Josi."

Legendary stuff there.

I watch all the games on Gamecenter, and I always choose the other teams feed so I don't have to listen to Stu and Willy.

As terrible as I think Stu can be on the broadcast, I'm glad all his faculties seem to be just fine after having a career of giving and taking hits to the head for so long. Got a law degree and shows no signs of mental issues. Just a thought.

He's being organic. Allowing the folks at home to live in the moment without his commentary.

That's a 'Grade A" observation. 'High Grade opportunity' to point that out!

Please, for the love of (Hockey) God(s) let this little experiment end.

It's excruciating.

I know it's nothing new, but it has really, really begun to hamper my enjoyment of watching the games.

Thought I'd pass along these apparently not tongue-in-cheek comments out of the WPG GDT thread:

Brigestone is a good hockey experience too. Preds a good model for non traditional market.

After having to listen to Pete last night, I'm not sure why he's considered better than Willie.

Maybe we should petition for the "Goalie Show" next season... Mason/Hutton...unfortunately this organization will only change players in the middle of a season

I think at one point I remember Willy referring to one of the Bourque's as Ray last night. As much as Pete has declined he's at least calling guys who are still in the league.

There are usually 4 to 5 major blunders every night listening to the idiot pair we have. I usually keep the volume at a point where I can hear the sounds of the game but barely hear the dynamicly stupid duo.

So on the second goal Stupid is at it again. First he says McDonald collects his own rebound. First off the shot was from the point. Secondly he doesn't mention Nystrom not tying up his man yet he says McDonald makes a strong offensive move. I'll give McDonald credit but Nystrom is clearly upset that he blew the coverage but nothing is said of it. Call a spade a spade man. Stop overhyping the fourth line guys and not calling them out when they screw up.
