At the season's quarter pole, audiences are up 31 per cent on the regional networks, which is where most Americans get their hockey. Some of the ratings jumps are phenomenal: up 175 per cent in San Jose, 127 per cent in Minnesota, 125 per cent in Nashville.
haha, look at how new i am to HF boards. I didnt realize you can see who is posting the comments until just now. I didnt see the names of posters on the far left, haha. I didnt realize that basically all the people here are the same ones on the other. O well, ive been kind of posting the same stuff on both sites. Eh, learn something new everyday...
Now if only we can people to start coming to games...
HEY! First post on the board guys. Thanks for having me.
Is it business' that have the majority of seats in the lower bowl, or are they that hard to sell?? I am not well versed in what is going on down there since my seats are up in 303. I notice that the majority of seats empty down there are in the corners (for whatever reason?).
Had a good turnout last night though. I was pleased.
It's not all the same posters. You won't get the "Legwand sucks" arguements in every thread over here.
Agreed, and I'm glad some of the good posters from over there are making their way over here. We used to have pretty good traffic around here(back in the days when you could see the total amount of posts for forums, and we were up there with the Canadian teams).
I encourage you new people...get out into the main forums, too. The real value of this board isn't just the Nashville talk, but mingling with a pretty intelligent group of fans of all teams in a relatively flame-free environment. In the three years I've been here, I've learned so much about other teams, their needs, their prospects and so on...just from reading and posting in the threads. This place is unparalleled in the months leading up to the draft. You'll be so well-versed in the top 50 or so draft eligible prospects...that watching the draft has a new meaning, rooting for certain guys to get picked, not wanting certain others. It's great.
