The King of your dreams?

Just for fun:

If you could choose ONE player in the leauge that you'd like to see playing for the Kings, who would it be? Ignore all about cap space, what we would have to give up and what we need, just name your dream King.

I have no idea who i'd choose, just want to know who you'd like.

Sounds great to me. Then he'd be made accountable and the team could finally scratch him

The obvious ones: Iginla, LeCavalier or Brodeur.

I'm shocked that any and every Kings fan hasn't listed a goaltender. This organization has had one that would qualify as a franchise tender in it's history.

Probably because we have never had that "franchise" goalie is the main reason nobody thinks of that when asked. I said Kovalchuk because if we score 8 goals and give up 7 we still win!!!

I'd rather play for the 2 - 1 game especially for post-season. I will always be on the Luongo and Blowmaster bandwagon. You kill two birds with one stone, and you slowly build around Frolov, Kopitar, Gleason, Bouwmeester, and Luongo. What a core that would be. I love high scoring but it becomes extinct in post-season.

I would love to have Dany Heatley. Too bad the Kings didn't make a proposal to Atlanta for him this season.

Do you seriously think Heatley could have been had for anything less than Frolov???

Yes....Look at the Boston/San Jose trade. The new NHL has already had its share of lopsided trades.

How's that working out for Atlanta?

Yeah, yeah. How's Luongo working out for Florida. Well, all things considered, the biggest difference maker you can have is in net. Remember, Roy stopped the greatest player in the world cold in his tracks in 93'
