Ladd out 4-6 weeks

Just heard the he is on his way back to Raleigh and will have knee surgery. Torn Knee cartlidge that will put him out 4-6 weeks. Also Joe is suppose to have his knee worked on tomorrow.

Chad Larose(sp?) will get the call up.

that's what I would expect at least. I had a baaaaaad feeling about Ladd's knee injury, 4 to 6 weeks is accually less then I was expecting them to say he'd be out for. I was expecting at least a couple months but man talk about bad timing on injuries for the team.

If another forward gets hurt, who do we call up? Keith Aucoin or Colin Forbes?

Aucoin is hurt... had a air cast type thing on his right leg yesterday. I would go with Rosey over Forbes anyday..

This team is made of wicker, I swear. There is no excuse to have this many injuries. I wonder what's the record for the number of callups in one season? After LaRose goes down with an injury, they'll be royally screwed.

you have to expect it to be a little worse coming off such a long layoff - but its getting pretty bad. the winning streak now becomes critical to their playoff hopes, as by the time they get healthy, we'll be lucky to still .500.
