Primeau skating in a week, Forsberg 1-3 games away

McCrossin said Forsberg "is getting close," but could not say when he would play again.

Meanwhile, Keith Primeau, back from a visit with a concussion specialist in North Carolina, also is making progress and could begin skating with McCrossin by the end of the week. There is no projected return date for Primeau, either.
The only good news yesterday was that team captain Keith Primeau is making progress in his recovery from a concussion.
"I'm getting better," Primeau said. "I'm getting closer to where I can be tested [neuropsychologically]. I haven't skated yet. That's the next challenge."

I'd rather them to take some time off and be 100% in perfect health specially Forsberg. Flyers can afford to lose a few games. (I think this is a BS news to keep fans coming) I'd be happy with one win and maybe 1 OT loss and a loss in next 3 games.

The swedish newspaper said today that Forsberg will be back on saturday against Minnesota. Forsberg was on the ice for 40 min yesterday and practised with full speed. Good news if you ask me

Peter Forsberg, Philadelphia Flyers - Forsberg admitted yesterday that he actually has a small tear in his groin muscle rather than just a simple strain, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News. He appears to be doubtful for all games this week but hopes to be back soon thereafter as soon as the injury heals on its own.

Uh oh...

Yea I agree keep them out till they are good to go and then maybe one more. Primeau skating soon is a good sign though. Anyone know if the exam Primeau has to go though, if he clears it then is ok to come back or is that just ok to go to the next level?
