Sorry about that.
Well, if it was mentioned on radio or something, or happened to be first hand information, it might not come out until the morning as it wouldn't be a huge signing. (News wise.)

It was probably made up, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen.

This is Frank's chance to steal the starting role. This is how Esche got recognition. Cechamanek went down for a week or two and all of a sudden we were back in the 1a and 1b situation.

Yes.

It's more like another week for Forsberg.

The 2nd round proposal theory comes up trumps yet again.

Terrible for the team, I know alot of people don't like Esche, but even if Nitty gets the satrting role, we need someone to fall back on if things go bad. Anyhow Frank, it is your time to shine and I hope you show the NHL how good you are !

ps

My fantasy team I have Theodore playing 1 game next week, was hoping to play Esche !

here in Toronto, they're only reporting him out for a week..Dumont could be gone longer because his hernia is worse and may require "correction", ie surgery.

It's not surprizing that Esche once again is hurt. Oh well.

The ball's in your court Frank. In five games from now, the Flyers visit the Blue Jackets, who can't buy a goal, so I guess we'll see Frank for four straight and then Storr. And then two games later it's the equally goal-challenged Blues, so the timing's right to give Frank a breather, although at the same time it's Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday for those weeks, so maybe he plays all the games.

you cant say that, forsberg has had a history of groin-area injuries, we'll be lucky if he comes back in a week

So that means trap hockey until Forsberg is back.

An abductor tear, for ESCHE, means that he cant extend is leg laterally away from his body ...not good if you are a goalie.

I wonder if those Luongo rumours are going to start back up. I sure hope not and I hope we seriously don't consider him. Maybe it's just me, but I've never bought the Roberto hype. Everyone talks about how great he is, well, I'm still waiting for the greatness to emerge. He's a good goalie, don't get me wrong, but he isn't in Brodeur's class. Not even close for that matter.

This blows i really thought that esche was going to go on a tear here. We are missing now a starting goalie, our captain, and the best player in the world. Pray that Nitty dosent go down or we might be shipping our team for Luongo. Maybe Forsberg for Vancouver.

Peter Forsberg (right groin) did not skate yesterday, but an MRI on Thursday revealed he has an abductor tear that is healing. He could return to action next week if the healing continues, McCrossin said.

I would've loved to see the Flyers pick up Caron. He's a great athlete with a lot of potential, and I think him and Frank couldve developed into Fernandez/Roloson kind of duo. It's ashame there was no truth to that rumor.
