I'd like to see him held back until after Christmas, if anything just to be safe. The last thing we need is to rush Simon back only to have him get reinjured.

I think two weeks from now sounds right - he hasn't even skated yet. Maybe two weeks from this weekend when he's supposed to skate

Last time I checked, Ken Hitchcock wasn't the doctor. This isn't the first time Gagne has had groin problems...this season or his carrer

Hitch was just passing along info from McCrossin .... who doesn't often have his own press conferences.

I would love for him to be back for the Sens game. I am going to the game though so I am very biased. Although, I also feel as though this game is huge for us at the point in the season. We have already beaten them once and having Gagne will be a huge boost to do it again. Beating the best team in the NHL without Gagne would be very hard, with him a bit easier. Either way if they win with or without him it would be time to get some respect as the top team in the east, beating them twice.

If he doesn't play all of us will just be running around talking about how we don't have our full team blah, blah, blah. And we all know that Hitch will not even think about using it as the reason why they are losing games. So I would rather just see him play in the game, that way we have no excusses.

I think tonight will be a huge test for us to see how well we can play against a good team instead of the Bule Jackets (sorry, but they aren't on the Nucks level). If they can pull out a win tonight, I would let him sit longer.

A groin is either healed or it isn't. None of this inbetween stuff.
